Learn How To Do Magic

Being entertained by magic tricks has a fantastic effect on people. Because of the ability to capture and entertain an audience many people would like to learn at least the basics of magic. A number of websites now exist that offer advice and guidance on how to start learning magic.

Before you begin your journey learning magic, it really helps to understand from where the power of magic stems. Firstly, magic makes people happy. Magic tricks are for the enjoyment of the audience as well as the magician. Secondly, a great magic trick is memorable. There are a number of methods that magicians use to ensure their tricks are well remembered by their audience

Here are my top tips to help you learn magic:

1. Make sure you practice your magic tricks on a regular basis. The best magicians practice everyday.

2. Practice a trick until you feel completely confident before performing it to a real audience.

3. Whilst practising, ask a member of your family or a friend to watch you closely and ask them what they honestly thought of your performance.

4. Always become completely proficient and confident with one magic trick before moving on to learn a new trick.

5. When it comes to performing magic, your image and style of presentation make a difference. Although I’m not suggesting you need to wear a tuxedo to perform magic tricks you need to realise that jeans and a t-shirt are not as effective as a look that gives your audience a sense of mystery, such as black trousers, black polished shoes and a black shirt.

The most important aspect of learning magic is to practice. The more you practice the better and more confident you become.
